HGTV star Christina El Moussa is moving on both personally and professionally since her divorce from husband and Flip or Flop co-host Tarek El Moussa, and is opening up more and more about what is next.
After news surfaced that Christina was getting her own HGTV series called Christina on the Coast, it seems another next step for the star is to open rehab centers. The 34-year-old revealed to PEOPLE that she is partnering up with her friend Cassie Zebisch and her pastor Tim Storey to begin opening up drug and alcohol rehab centers by as early as next year and explained that she was inspired to do so after the guidance she received during her own dark days.
“Two years ago I was focused on trying not to sink,” she explained. “But after I started exercising, eating right, surrounding myself with the correct people, I felt this switch.”
“Everyone’s been there. Everyone’s had a setback, but it’s how you move forward and what you do with your future, that’s what matters,” she continued.
Christina revealed that she felt it was important for others to experience the guidance and help that she did from Tim Storey, “When I met Tim, we realized there was an opportunity for us to change people’s lives,” she said. “I love to fix up a house, but I also love to help people. I feel like that’s my calling.”
Along with her new show and new treatment center plans, El Moussa also has a new love in her life since her split as she is now dating British TV presenter Ant Anstead.
