Country music’s biggest stars all turned out for the 2014 CMT Music Awards, which took place in Nashville last night. The red carpet looks ranged from glamorous to downright strange – but the overall theme was a bold, plunging neckline. Check out the video to see what everyone wore!
Despite rumors of marital troubles, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were all smiles on the red carpet. Nicole’s outfit is bound to put her on some worst-dressed lists: she donned a strange white strapless dress with blue flowers, a black skirt and black trim on top.
Frozen star Kristen Bell, meanwhile, dazzled in a sparkly, dark midnight blue gown with dramatic skirt. Carrie Underwood opted for a more summery look, showing off her toned arms and legs with a high-slit flowered gown with a modern print and peekaboo chest. Miranda Lambert put it all out there, wearing a short, form-fitting sparkly cream-colored gown with a deep V-neck and wide metallic belt.
Channeling Marilyn Monroe, LeAnn Rimes wore a Grecian-inspired flowing white gown with high slit and neckline that stretched almost to her navel. Jennifer Nettles also picked white, but just for the bottom: the top of her gown was a more conservative black, with embellished beadwork.
Somewhere in between, Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum exuded vintage glamour with a striped and flowered dress with a more standard V-neckline and a hemline just below her knee.
