Country music singer Jake Flint has sadly passed. He was 37.
Flint was an up-and-coming country music artist with various singles such as “What’s Your Name?” and “Long Road Back Home.” The Oklahoma native has also released various studio albums.
Flint’s publicity, Clif Doyal, made the tragic announcement that the singer passed in his sleep just hours after his wedding on Saturday.
Flint’s former manager, Brenda Cline, also confirmed the news on Sunday. She expressed that she loved Flint “much like a son” and he had passed shortly before returning to tour on December 2nd following his wedding.
“The funniest, most hilarious, hardest working, dedicated artist I have ever worked with in my career. We were just about to embark on some business together after he and Brenda got married- which was yesterday. Yes-yesterday,” she wrote.
Shortly after the news of his passing, Flint’s widow shared a video of the two dancing under an orange tree at their wedding with the caption, “I don’t understand.”
In a separate post, she wrote, “We should be going through wedding photos but instead I have to pick out clothes to bury my husband in.”
People aren’t meant to feel this much pain. My heart is gone and I just really need him to come back. I can’t take much more. I need him here.”
