Courteney Cox and Ed Sheeran hilariously recreated Ross and Monica’s dance routine from Friends!
“Just some routine dancing with a friend…” Cox wrote on Instagram. Cox and Sheeran appeared to be perfectly in sync in the video as they recreated Cox and David Schwimmer’s brother/sister dance routine from the beloved series.
“Had a reunion of our own this weekend,” Sheeran wrote, posting the video to his own profile. He added the hashtag “#obviouslybetterthanross” at the end of the caption.
Fans will recall that Cox first performed the dance number with Schwimmer in the season 6 episode “The One with the Routine.” Monica and Ross bring back their hilarious high school dance routine in the episode in an attempt to be featured on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve to celebrate the year 2000.
The dance routine video followed shortly after Cox reunited with her on-screen Friends castmates in an official reunion special. Leading up to the airing of the reunion, Cox dished to PEOPLE that she “was flooded with 10 years of irreplaceable memories.”
