The missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 has captivated the attention of the world. In an effort to find any sign of the missing, Boeing 777 aircraft, citizens from the world over have taken to satellite maps to “pin” potential sightings. One of the individuals involved in the search for missing flight 370 is much maligned rocker, Courtney Love.
Courtney Love took to the web to search for the missing plane, and after looking at more pictures than she could count, she came across an image that piqued her interest. Within the photo, she spotted what she believed to be markings on the water surface resembling oil slicks, and something below the surface resembling what she thought could be flight MH370 plane.
When she posted the the image to Twitter, several thousand of her followers retweeted the image. It is quite fascinating, and at this point, one of the more suspicious looking satellite images associated with the missing plane. Officially, Love didn’t claim that she found the plane… she has merely asked the question: Could this be it?
Numerous theories have developed since the disappearance of the Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeared on Saturday, March 8. It is now the 10th official day of a recovery search, and new variables have been thrown into the equation within the last 12-24 hours.
Residents of the Maldives have suggested that they spotted a jumbo jet flying low over the island–a phenomena they can scarcely remember, and something that never happens within their local geography. These claims have been discounted by local authorities, but it does call into question how far the plane might have traveled if it was capable of maxing out its fuel supply.
Or maybe we should all stop wondering, and just look at the photo highlighted in the video below, discovered by Courtney Love. It would seem oddly appropriate if she were to find the missing plane.
