After a lengthy back and forth in the courts, reality star Abby Lee Miller has finally received her sentence in her very public fraud case.

According to reports the Dance Moms star has been sentenced to one year and one day in federal prison and is also sentenced to two years of supervised release once her prison term is up. Miller was also fined $40,000 and ordered to pay a $10,000 judgment.

Upon handing down the ruling, a judge told her, “It’s a very serious situation when someone who files for bankruptcy isn’t truthful with the court.”

Back in October of 2015, the 50-year-old was charged with trying to hide $775,000 of income earned from her hit Lifetime series and it’s spin-off Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition. The charge came after she filed for bankruptcy in 2010 and failed to tell the court about the contract for her show at the time. Eventually a judge saw her on TV and canceled the hearing to discharge her bankruptcy case and ordered to disclose any contracts.

Back in April, Miller spoke out about the case, stating, “I made mistakes. I trusted people. But ultimately I have to take responsibility for those mistakes. I have to take the blame. I have to take the punishment.” When asked about possibly going to prison, she added, “I’m afraid of being physically abused or raped. I have to stay busy. If I thought about it every day, I’d just sit around and cry.”
