Dancing with the Stars season 31 has crowned its winner!

After competing for 10 weeks, TikTok star Charli D’Amelio and partner Mark Ballas have been named the champions of season 31. The couple beat out former Bachelorette and runner-up Gabby Windey and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy.

D’Amelio also stole the top prize over TV host Wayne Brady and partner Witney Carson, who placed third, and drag queen star Shangela and partner Gleb Savchenko, who placed fourth.

The finale kicked off with a lively opening number by the show’s pro dancers to “Everybody Dance” by Cedric Gervais & Franklin ft. Nile Rodgers. Co-hosts Tyra Banks and Alfonso Ribeiro then took the floor and announced that the four finalists would be performing two routines: a Redemption Dance selected by one of the judges and a Freestyle.

The episode featured all of the eliminated contestants who returned for a final performance. One special moment of the evening was Selma Blair and Sasha Farber returning to dance after Selma had to step away from the competition due to an MS flare-up.

Following the routines, Charli and Gabby were tied on the leaderboard with an 80/80. Tyra and Alfonso then announced that the winner of DWTS season 31 was Charli and Mark.

“Thank you so much for the opportunity, thank you Mark for becoming my new best friend,” Charli said after winning, and added to her mom Heidi, “It was such a honor to be able to do this with you.”
