Daniella Karagach’s time on the Dancing with the Stars tour has sadly come to an end following an injury.
The pro dancer posted to Instagram on Thursday sharing a photo of herself sitting in a wheelchair with her husband, pro dancer Pasha Pashkov. In the photo you can see that Karagach’s left foot is wrapped in a cast and that she’s holding crutches in her right hand.
“Well, this was definitely not the way I thought tour would end but I’m grateful for the time I had,” Karagach wrote in the post in the caption of the post.
“This was truly a special experience for me and I’ve had the best time being a part of this immensely talented cast. I love my @dancingabc fam so much and I know you guys will keep kicking a**!!,” she continued. “To the fans and friends, I love you. Thank you for your love, kindness and always showing 100% of your support for us. This @dwtstourofficial would be nothing without you all.”
Karagach concluded her post by shouting out some of her favorite moments from the tour which is “something [she’ll] never be able to express,” and added, “Dancing for you guys was exhilarating. I’m so grateful. To @alexis_warr, thank you for saving my butt!! I can’t wait to watch you shine!!! Go crush em.
She signed off her note with, “Much love, D #dwts.”
Karagach gave more insight into the accident on her Instagram story. She revealed that she broke her ankle after landing the wrong way performing a scissor kick during their second last number on stage.
