Last night’s episode of Dancing with the Stars came with a few scary surprises just in time for Halloween! The theme of the night was in tribute to the spooky holiday which meant a slew of supernatural-inspired routines and classic Halloween tunes, but the biggest surprise of all was when it was announced that there would be a surprise double elimination! Follow along for a recap of everything that happened on last night’s episode:

Victoria Arlen and partner Val Chmerkovsiky performed a Viennese Waltz that they pulled off flawlessly! The judges were thrilled to see Victoria improving in her technique, especially when it comes to arm movements and they awarded the duo a 27/30. Tying with them was Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas who performed a Paso Doble. Lindsey was at a disadvantage due to injuring her rib in rehearsal, but she still danced to her best ability despite being in pain. Drew Scott and Emma Slater also matched both these couples with a score of 27/30! They performed a Charleston routine with a ghost-themed wedding twist and the judges loved it!

Lindsay Arnold and Jordan Fisher received a perfect score of 30/30 for their Little Red Riding Hood themed Paso Doble. Len admitted he was searching for a flaw in Fisher’s technique, but could not find one. Tying with them were Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson who were determined to redeem themselves after last week, which they most definitely did and landed a 30/30!

Terrell Owens and Cheryl Burke landed near the bottom of the scoreboard and received a 25/30 for their vampire-inspired tango. Despite his growth over the season, Terrell still seemed a little stiff. Just below them was Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev who performed an underwhelming routine where Nikki played a witch casting a spell on Artem. They ended up with a 24/30 and near the bottom of the scoreboard. Vanessa Lachey and Maksim Chmerkovskiy also landed a 24/30 because the judges felt their routine had too much embellishment and not enough dancing.

By the end of the night, Drew and Emma, Vanessa and Maksim, Nikki and Artem and Terrell and Cheryl were all in jeopardy. Ultimately, both Nikki and Artem as well as Vanessa and Maksim were sent home in the surprising double elimination.

Dancing with the Stars airs on ABC Mondays at 8 pm.
