Demi Lovato Pays Tribute To Her “First Blaze” With Joe Jonas And Miley Cyrus

Many celebrities do not make it a secret that they drink and do drugs but of all the stars to commemorate her “first blaze” on 4/20, an unofficial holiday dedicated to marijuana, it’s shocking that it is Demi Lovato.
The 22-year-old star has been on a long path of recovery and actively speaks out about her sober lifestyle after struggling with issues including substance abuse as a teen but on April 20, she recalled those days.
On Monday April 20, Lovato posted a “trippy” photo of herself on Instagram hugging Miley Cyrus with a picture of an imposed picture of Joe Jonas’ head smoking a joint, as well as some drawn weed pictures covering the photo. She captioned the picture with, “In honor of our former escapades, I thought you’d like this to remember your first blaze. Happy #420 @joejonas. #disneyhighclassof09.”
Her caption is apparently in reference to a 2013 tell-all essay that Joe Jonas did where he admitted to smoking pot with the Disney starlets, “The first time I smoked weed was with Demi and Miley. I must have been 17 or 18. They kept saying, ‘Try it! Try it! so I gave it a shot, and it was all right. I don’t even smoke weed that often anymore.”
While Jonas and Lovato stayed close after their breakup and their times struggling to grow up in the spotlight, Lovato revealed last year that she no longer associates with her former best friend Miley Cyrus due to differences in lifestyle.
The differences couldn’t be any more obvious than on 4/20 where the sober star recalls her first time blazing up while Cyrus posted her own photo smoking a bong while wearing only shorts and pasties, writing, “Happy 420 #stillinjoanpasties #studio #goodstarttodabestdayofdayear.”
