Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay’s friend Astrid Loch may have let an important detail slip into which contestant receives the final rose this season.
Astrid appeared on Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor alongside Lindsay where the two became close friends. Loch recently spoke with Entertainment Tonight to discuss Lindsays’s plans with her new fiancee after the finale airs and they are allowed to be a public couple together.
“They are going to Dallas to have a party there,” Loch said speaking of Lindsay’s hometown. “He gets to meet all of her friends and non-Bachelor people, too. And then they’re going to Miami after that to have an engagement party there, too.”
Fans quickly caught on to the fact that contestant Bryan Abasolo’s hometown date was in Miami, whereas contestant Peter Kraus is from Madison and Eric Bigger from Balitmore. Many fans contested this fact and claimed that Miami is simply a generic party city that would be ideal for an engagement party, but it seems too coincidental that Abasolo’s family also happens to be from there.
Whoever the final contestant is, Rachel Lindsay has gushed openly about how happy she is with who she selected. “I am so excited I found The One. He’s so amazing!” she exclaimed. “We cannot wait to walk down the street hand in hand. I just want to be in public and do simple things like grab a cup of coffee together.”
The Bachelorette airs on ABC Mondays at 8 p.m.
