Meghan Markle’s wardrobe has been a buzzing topic of speculation the past year as she transitions from Hollywood glamour to polished Royal. Markle has always leaned towards the classier end of the spectrum when it came to fashion, even before her Royal debut, but it’s still interesting to see the small changes she’s made in her new Duchess’s title.
Most recently, we’ve noticed that Meghan has definitely taken a style cue from Kate Middleton. Meghan stepped out to visit the Hubb Community Kitchen following her Community Cookbook release to see how the funds raised are already making a difference. For the event, she wore a monochrome wine-colored look. Her shift dress featured a polished peter pan collar and she layered a coordinating wool jacket on top. She opted for black tights and booties as accessories and pulled her hair into a low updo.
This is perhaps one of Meghan’s preppiest look yet and comes across as something straight out of Kate Middleton’s playbook! We love how versatile Meghan can be with her fashion and think she looks every bit a Duchess in this modest and elegant look.
