Diddy Calls Cameron Diaz “The One That Got Away”
Published on November 27, 2014.Cameron Diaz is gorgeous, funny and a talented actress but at 42 years old she is one star who seems to have trouble finding true love.
Her roster of past exes is very impressive as it includes baseball player Alex Rodriguez, actor Matt Dillon, as well as Jared Leto, Justin Timberlake, and Diddy (Sean John Combs).
While her relationships have always been intense, including the one with Timberlake that was rumored to be headed for marriage after four years together before calling it quits in 2007, they always come to an end for one reason or another.
One of those reasons seem to be Diaz herself as she has always said she has “interest in getting married” and is a self-proclaimed “commitment phobe.”
She is once again in a serious relationship as she is currently dating and rumored to be living with Good Charlotte guitarist, Benji Madden, 35.
While she is enjoying her new romance, one of her past loves seems to be regretting letting her go and to everyone’s surprise it is Diddy. The news comes as even more of a surprise considering the two never actually confirmed their relationship.
According to reports from Us Weekly magazine, “He [Diddy] was at a dinner and the subject turned to Cameron dating Benji Madden. He said ‘If I could turn back time, things would be different!,'” an insider told the magazine.
He also called Diaz, “the sexiest girl in the world” and “the one that got away.”
Diaz and Diddy met at the Oscars in 2008 and reportedly dated until 2012, while always maintaining they were only friends.
