Eddie Redmayne Is A Married Man

If you’re going to have a good year, why not just pack it all into the last month, as it seems actor Eddie Redmayne did as he has having a fantastic ending to 2014.

Last week the 32-year old actor grabbed both a SAG (Screen Actors Guild) and Golden Globe nomination for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything.

Now, it has been confirmed that the rising actor married his fiancée, Hannah Bagshawe at Babington House in Somerset, England on Monday December 15 around 5:30 pm local time.

Us Weekly magazine reported the two were wed in a “Winter Wonderland” theme while surrounded by a close group of family and friends.

Redmayne proposed back in May of this year and posted an engagement notice in The Times, as is British tradition and the star later stated the wedding plans we’re “going good” and he joked, “I’m sort of leaving most of it up to my fiancée, but we’re getting there!” and by November admitted the wedding was fast approaching.

“The plan is a winter wedding. We’re in the thick of that at the moment. You only get one shot arranging a wedding, so we’re doing our best. We’ve planned this long in advance, so it’s the most wonderful thing.”

After the immediate success of The Theory of Everything, Redmayne will next be seen in Jupiter Ascending opposite Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis.
