Elizabeth Hurley was an open book on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live when she stopped by on Tuesday March 10 and aside from dishing on her new show The Royals, she had no problem talking about her ex, Hugh Grant.

Grant had been on the same show only a month before and played Andy Cohen’s famous game “Plead the Fifth” where he was asked about why his relationship with Hurley did not work out even though they were together for 13 years.

While Grant blamed loss of bedroom chemistry, Hurley had a different take on the amicable split: “Oh well… Well, he remains my best friend to this day, but… I mean, I’d say this if [he] were sitting here, but he used to really annoy me, actually. I mean, I love him, but he’s very annoying. Did he annoy you when he was here?” she asked Cohen about Grant’s February visit.

Cohen stated that he didn’t find Grant annoying but he did offer feedback from viewers who “thought he was cranky,” which came as no surprise to the 49-year old model/actress. “He is! My friends used to call him Grumplestiltskin,” she revealed. “He is grumpy,” which she admitted can be charming “But not 24/7.”

After the two called it quits in 2000, Hurley gave birth to her son Damian with businessman Steve Bing denying paternity, but as her and Grant had remained close she named him the godfather of her son.
