Monday, October 30 was a big day for Teen Mom OG cast and fans!

Only hours after MTV released a promo and premiere date for the upcoming season of Teen Mom OG, star Farrah Abraham revealed that she had been fired from MTV’s parent company Viacom for being in the adult entertainment industry.

Abraham and her daughter Sophia will be appearing on the new season of the hit reality series as filming was completed before Viacom made the decision to fire the controversial star. Abraham took to her social media accounts to rant about the firing and the fact MTV still released the promo featuring herself and her daughter. “Even though #Viacom fired me today they couldn’t help but to exploit myself & my daughter for their promotional gain- Viacom let me go because as a Business Mogul I act like an adult and part take in adult promotions and activities that other adults do for FREE or in private !” she began her rant.

She continued, “I am proud of myself not giving in to be sex shamed by Viacom network, Proud to not have a network take away financial opportunities for my goals, proud to be an Advocate for a healthy sex life, safe sex, teen pregnancy prevention and so much more while I run companies in different fields and scale them.”

Those who follow Abraham on social media know that although she stepped back from the adult entertainment industry to focus on her other businesses, she has recently became very involved with a pornographic web cam site and had been promoting her Halloween show with very graphic detail and hashtags which seems to be what influenced Viacom’s decision to fire her.

She also stated in her rant, ” Sad such a phenomenal show will no longer have its biggest talent on the show because of women hating, sex shaming, hate crimes, selfish, Weinstein company power trip behaviors against a professional hard working, honest mother. I’m proud of myself not giving in to be sex shamed by Viacom network.”

MTV has yet to comment on Abraham’s firing and her response.

The new season of Teen Mom OG premieres Monday, November 27. Check out Farrah’s full rant and the new season’s trailer below.
