Fifty Shades Of Grey Releases First Full Scene

The hype surrounding the Valentine’s Day release of the Fifty Shades of Grey film is never ending as the trailers are just a teaser of what audiences can expect, showing glimpses as to why the film has an R-rating.

With the release only two weeks away, an entire scene from the film has been released and while it doesn’t include any of the racy material, it alludes to it and shows the relationship between Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson).

In the clip, Grey shows up at the hardware store where Ana is working and asks her to help him find cable ties, masking tape and rope. While fans know why he really needs such materials, Ana innocently asks him, “Are you redecorating?” to which he responds, “No,” revealing the awkward tension that controls the two at the beginning.

Even though not everyone is a fan of the erotic series, many are curious to see how this translates on screen without becoming an adult film and stars Dornan and Johnson seem to disagree with which scenes were more difficult to film.

For Dornan he said the scene where they first meet in his office was hard, “It’s the first time we see Christian, and we see him in his highly impressive office, very much in charge and in a position of power. And all of that has to come across, but we also have to quickly feel the connection between the two right away.”

As for Johnson however, she admitted sex scenes are very uncomfortable but in particular one in the “Red Room of Pain” made her uneasy.

“It’s really hot – not in a steamy, sexual way. It’s just sweaty and it’s not very comfortable. And on top of that, my hands and legs were tied, and I was blindfolded, and I was being hit with this bizarre tool..it was emotionally taxing,” she admitted of the scene where she is being hit with a riding crop.
