Forbes has released their list of the World’s Highest Paid Actors for 2015 and the frontrunners are mildly surprising with the exception of the top spot. The list calculates the amount earned by Hollywood’s leading men from June 1, 2014 to June 1, 2015 before taking away management fees and taxes.

For the third year in a row Robert Downey Jr. has topped the list raking in an incredible $80 million in 2015 bringing him probably pretty close to the lifestyle of the character that has earned him so much of that $80 mil.–Tony Stark/Iron Man. The 50-year-old of course got a huge cut for the success of Avengers: Age of Ultron which took in $1.4 billion worldwide. He is also set to earn a whopping $40 million alone for reprising his superhero role in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War.

His top spot eclipses the second place actor by $30 million, yet surprisingly that person is Jackie Chan who hasn’t seen a blockbuster in quite some time. Coming in third is Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel who pulled in a substantial $47 million which in large part was thanks to Furious 7 which grossed $1.5 billion.

Behind Diesel is Bradley Cooper with $41.5 million even with the dismal reception of his latest film Aloha, yet the fifth spot may be the most surprising as Cooper only just edged out Adam Sandler who came in with $41 million. Sandler’s spot is surprising due to his lack of major box offices successes recently and an increasingly bad reputation in the press.
