George Clooney Marries Amal In Italy
Published on September 29, 2014.In one of the highest-profile celeb weddings of 2014, George and Amal tied the knot in Venice, Italy over the weekend, in glamorous affair attended by fellow celebrities such as Matt Damon, Emily Blunt and Anna Wintour.
Now they’ve been spotted stepping out for the first time as a married couple. George looked dapper as always in a trim grey suit and blue tie, while Amal was all smiles as she donned a colorful floral and white lace dress with long sleeves and a cropped wide high-low hoop skirt.
Amal’s small, delicate wedding band is also visible — are you surprised that she’s not wearing something more elaborate or ostentatious? Her engagement ring, of course, is a sparkler. Check out the video to see their post-nuptial looks!
George and Amal hopped on a boat and headed for a hotel, where they continued celebrating with friends and family members. Crowds cheered as they watched the A-listers take the boat ride. “It was so cute,” said one onlooker.
George, 53, and Amal, 36, aren’t technically married yet – their ceremony was symbolic, but they plan to make it legal and official this week in a civil ceremony at Venice City Hall.
