When asked about the allegations during a recent interview on FUBAR Radio, the 41-year-old actor responded, “I honestly think it’s a distraction of, you know, the bigger issues that are going on right now. I’m just kind of like, eh.”

Following the tragic death of George Floyd, Lea tweeted, “George Floyd did not deserve this. This was not an isolated incident and it must end.”

Other costars from Glee have spoken out about the matter and Lea has officially shared a public apology acknowledging her wrongdoings and her mission to do better.
