The proof is in the pudding and this batch of pudding comes in the form of a “Super-Classy Yard Sale” hosted on her lifestyle site, Goop.
It’s always entertaining to see the public attacks on Gwyneth. She’s likely never done anything personal to anyone who claims disdain — and all of her former boyfriends/husband have nothing but kind things to say about her — but, for some reason, she’s still that girl from high school who everyone loves to hate.
So, to all the Gwyneth lovers, you’ll love this; to the haters, you’ll have to stick this one in your pipe and smoke it. Gwyneth keeps on keeping on. She’s hosting another closet sale, bringing in items from celebrity friends and all the profits from the items sold will go to charity. Because, well, people like Gwyneth, Nicole Richie, Beyonce, Kate Hudson, Caroline de Maigret and Miranda Kerr don’t need money from a glorified garage sale.
The announcement spread like wildfire yesterday and excited lovers and haters alike. They were so excited, they crashed Goop!
The news of the sale served as its own promotion, as word spread through social media faster than if something really terrible happened. The charity of choice is “Donors Choose,” an organization that specializes in delivering donations directly to public school classrooms for various projects or needs as suggested by a teacher.
