Gwyneth Paltrow Posts Rare Photo of Daughter, Disses Met Gala

The 42 year-old actress and Goop lifestyle guru skipped the star-studded Met Gala earlier this week, opting to stay home with her kids instead.
She posted to Instagram a cute photo of her daughter Apple, who will turn 11 this month, wearing a blue jumpsuit and green slippers that look like dragon’s feet.
“This was the red carpet in my house last night,” Gwyneth wrote as the caption.
Gwyneth hasn’t attended the Met Gala since 2013 because she had a terrible time when she did go.
“I’m never going again. It was so un-fun,” Paltrow dished to USA Today at the time. “It was boiling. It was too crowded. I did not enjoy it at all.”
Beyonce probably didn’t feel the heat, since she wore a controversial nearly-naked sheer gown with sparkles covering all of her important parts. Also making headlines, Rihanna probably was boiling given her heavy, yellow fur gown with giant train.
But even if Gwyneth isn’t into fashion’s biggest night, Apple is starting to show an interest in fashion herself – or at least borrowing her mom’s clothes. “She’s wearing a lot of my tank tops and T-shirts and sweatpants,” Gwyneth told People recently. “She’s tall.”
