Gwyneth Paltrow Says She Is “Incredibly Close To The Common Woman”

During Gwyneth Paltrow’s time in Hollywood, the 42-year old actress has solidified herself as someone with a “better than you” attitude but, in a recent interview with CNN Money, she almost calls herself common…almost.

The GOOP creator wanted to explain how beneficial her lifestyle website was to everyone and in fact does not operate on the idea that “I have it all, so can you.”

“I’m incredibly close to the common woman in that I’m a woman and I’m a mother. We are all in a physical body with beating hearts, with compassion and love,” she explained basically associating herself with common because she is in fact a human woman.

“We are all seekers, we all want questions, we all want fulfillment, we all want to live our best lives. We want to be healthy and happy and squeeze the most we can out of life. I think that’s all women.”

She continued to dismiss the idea that GOOP made those strive for a lifestyle outside of their range, given the expensive products that the site promotes.

“I always say that when people make that false assumption it’s cause they haven’t actually gone to the site [to] see what we’re selling and see what we’re about. We have products on the site that are under $10, we have products on the site that are $500. I think the idea is that we’re gonna find the best thing, whatever it is, at any price point.”
