Hilary Duff And Mike Comrie Attend Halloween Party Together

27-year old actress/singer Hilary Duff and husband, former NHL player Mike Comrie, 34, have been separated for around ten months, although there are rarely any indicators that the two are in fact separated.

In January 2014, they were a united front when it was announced they had mutually decided to amicably separate after three years of marriage.

However, divorce papers were never filed and more often then not the two are seen out as a family with two-year old son Luca and the former couple even have outright displays of PDA, all while maintaining they are not together.

Most recently, the pair attended the Casamigos Halloween Party in West Hollywood, California on Friday October, 24.

Decked out in a fairy costume complete with crown and mask Duff and Comrie who was wearing a simple black and white suit, arrived holding hands.

While they have always been open about their extreme closeness and bond of friendship, especially for the sake of their son, most separated couples do not attend parties holding hands together.

“We love each other so much and we love spending time together. So when you see us out it’s not just for Luca, it’s because we make plans and we hang out and we don’t know what our future looks like right not but we’re both doing really good and just figuring out what makes us happy,” Duff stated in spring of 2014 to E! News.

While they have maintained their separation for almost a full year without officially getting back together, Duff also stated, “I mean, if there wasn’t a chance for getting back [together], I think we would’ve filed for divorce.”

As well as attending the Halloween party, they were also seen preparing for the holiday as a family, buying decorations and picking out pumpkins with Luca.
