Jamie Lynn Spears Reflects On Living Her Worst Nightmare After Daughter’s Accident

It has already been one month since Jamie Lynn Spears’ daughter Maddie was sent to hospital with “serious injuries” following an ATV accident, and now Spears is counting her blessings in an emotional Instagram post.
The former Nickelodeon star took to her social media to reflect on the accident by posting a photo of her 8-year-old holding a toddler with the caption, “A month ago, at this time, I was living a mother’s/anyone’s worst nightmare happening right in front of my eyes, helplessly…Fast forward – Today, we are able to celebrate the baptism of our sweet Kylie Blair.”
She continued, “I’m not one to preach, but we were shown God’s grace, and we still feel undeserving of His mercy. I’ll never stop thanking each of you for your prayers, because we recognize the miracle it created. We are beyond blessed, and we will NEVER forget y’all, and God’s unbelievable mercy #Godisgood.”
As reported, Maddie was in an ATV on her family’s property when the off-road vehicle flipped over into a pond and Maddie could not be freed because she was strapped in. The young girl was taken to hospital in critical condition and unconscious, but two days later she woke up and a few days later was sent home.
In that time many took to social media to offer support, including Britney Spears who asked for prayers for her niece and on February 10 posted, “Our prayers were heard, and they were answered! Thank you so much for all of your love and support this week. My family appreciates it more than you will ever know.”
