According to the dance-a-thon fundraiser’s website, Team Love partnered with Direct Relief, a nonprofit humanitarian aid organization, to support the organization’s emergency response to the ongoing public health and safety situation. As of April 13, Team Love has raised over $3,700,000 in donations in support of frontline workers.
Celebrities who joined Diddy’s live stream on Easter Sunday included Kelly Rowland, DJ Khaled, Lizzo, and Jennifer Lopez.
While the former exes danced it out to Elvis Crespo’s “Suavemente,” Lopez told Diddy, “I probably taught you that.”
At one point during the live stream, Lopez’s fiancé Alex Rodriguez also joined the dance-a-thon fundraiser and Lopez shared with Diddy that her lover was his “biggest fan from the Bad Boy era.”
She added, “You and Mase are like his heroes, okay? It’s like every party we do, anything we do, it’s like ‘Put on Puffy and Mase.'”
Other celebrities that participated in the fundraiser after Lopez included Drake, Demi Lovato and Justin Bieber.
