Another familiar television actress is joining the hit drama This Is Us!

Reports have confirmed that Jennifer Morrison, who most know for her role as Emma Swan on the series Once Upon A Time, will be joining the upcoming fourth season of the series this September.

On Tuesday, Morrison, 40, confirmed the news on Twitter, tweeting “THIS IS US!!!!” alongside three red heart emojis. “I am sooooo excited!!” she added on her Instagram Story.

While the news has been confirmed, there are little details about her character but it has been reported that the role is “substantial” which has already lead to many theories about who her character is and what part she plays in the series.

Most fans already seem to agree that Morrison will play the mother of Kevin’s son, who was seen in an extended flash forward scene in the season three finale.

While fans anxiously await the new season that doesn’t premiere until September, it is almost bittersweet as there will reportedly only be three more seasons of the beloved show.

“We’re roughly in the middle of where the television series is going to go,” This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman revealed during the show’s third season.“We never set out to make a television series that was going to last 18 seasons, and so we have a very direct plan. I have script pages I have written, and I’m writing that really are deep, deep, deep into the future. We have a plan for what we’re going to do, and I know what the plan is.”

Additionally, the series was picked up for a three season renewal which will carry it nicely through Fogelman’s six season plan.

This Is Us returns to NBC September 24, 2019.
