Jessa Duggar’s Father-In-Law Slams Josh Duggar In Blog Post

Former reality star Josh Duggar from TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting has received the backlash from not only former fans, but social media users worldwide following the discovery of his account on the infidelity website Ashley Madison.

In his own admission of using the site, Duggar, 27, called himself “the biggest hypocrite” given the fact he held a job at the Family Research Council, which promotes and protects the traditional family and values of marriage.

Now, many close to the family are speaking out and slamming Josh, including his wife Anna’s brother who said, “I won’t stop trying to get this pig out of my family.” The latest to step forward is the father of Ben Seewald, who is the husband of Josh’s sister Jessa Duggar.

In a blog post entitled “Grief, Shame and Taking the Lord’s Name in Vain,” Michael Seewald tore Josh apart for being a hypocritical Christian and making other devout Christians look bad as well. “It distresses me to say that Josh Duggar’s greatest sin is a byproduct of the sum total of his secretly sinful lifestyle. That is, that by his hypocrisy, he blasphemed the name of God. He claimed to be a Christian, but by his deeds he has suggested otherwise. With the name of God on his lips he lived a covert and extensive lifestyle of evil.”

Seewalds’ finished his lengthy post by stating, “To the person reading this, I want to caution you. Josh was a pretender. True Christians fail often, but their lives are truly being conformed to the image of Christ.”

Following the scandal, Josh’s family stated he had entered a rehab facility, which is based on faith recovery.
