John Stamos has spoken out following the passing of his longtime friend and Full House costar, Bob Saget.

Saget was staying at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando, Florida for a performance in Jacksonville when was discovered unresponsive on Sunday afternoon by hotel security. He was 65.

Following the devastating news, Stamos spoke out and paid tribute to his friend on Twitter. “I am broken. I am gutted. I am in complete and utter shock. I will never ever have another friend like him. I love you so much Bobby,” Stamos tweeted.

The duo worked together for eight years on the set of the beloved sitcom Full House, which aired from 1987 to 1995. Saget and Stamos played brothers-in-law Danny Tanner and Jesse Katsopolis who move in their their college best friend Joey Gladstone to raise Danny’s three daughters following his wife’s passing. The group recently reprised their iconic roles on Netflix’s reboot, Fuller House, which ran for five seasons and ended in 2020.

Throughout their time working on the set of Full House, Saget and Stamos grew incredibly close and formed a bond that would last a lifetime. The two often went on double dates together with their wives and even proposed to their girlfriends-at-the-time within a few weeks of each other.

Saget shared a photo of the group out for dinner in 2019 in which he captioned the photo, “What can you say about someone you’ve loved for so long and want to spend the rest of your life with? But enough about @JohnStamos — We are both so lucky to have married these wonderful beautiful women,” Saget captioned the photo.
