Justin Timberlake has collaborated with the King of Pop — and it feels so good.

Dropping today, the new single “Love Never Felt So Good” features vocals Michael Jackson recorded back in 1983. The song begins with Michael’s lyrics, “Baby, love never felt so good / and I’d die if it ever could / Not like you hold me, hold me.”

Then Justin joins in, adding a modern spin on the old track. It’s a song Justin has experience with; he also recorded his own version of it with Timbaland.

The song comes from Michael’s new posthumous album, Xscape, which will be available for purchase on May 13. The album follows Michael, which was released back in 2010.

Justin has said that Michael was a huge influence on his music. The two of them even performed together in 2001, when Michael joined Justin’s old group ‘N Sync when they sang “Pop” at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Michael passed away in 2009 at the age of 50. “We have lost a genius and a true ambassador of not only Pop music but of all music,” Justin said in a statement following the singer’s death. “He has been an inspiration to multiple generations, and I will always cherish the moments I shared with him on stage and all of the things I learned about music from him and the time we spent together.”
