From the end of 2015 to early 2016 Kaley Cuoco found herself in the middle of a lot of the media’s spotlight.
The Big Bang Theory star had a whirlwind romance with tennis player Ryan Sweeting which ended in a separation in September of 2015 and a finalized in divorce in May 2016. Then, after quietly dating for some time, Cuoco and her new boyfriend, professional equestrian rider Karl Cook, were seen more and more together, but only now is the gorgeous star finally opening up about their relationship.
Unsurprisingly, the one thing that has had them connected from the start is their mutual love of horses. “It’s funny, he’s either the one riding or it’s me, so we’re rarely doing it together. But recently we did go on a little trail ride date. It was adorable. We hadn’t really done that yet. One is usually cheering for the other so that was kind of cute to go out together. We totally held hands! It was very dorky!” she told People.
She went on to gush about her new love and what she has learned about love and relationships since her divorce and dating Cook. “When you share something so special, some sort of connection – for us, it’s horses, but for anything two people share – you have that common goal and you know that you want the same things in life, day to day, and in the future.”
The 30-year-old added, “It just sets you on a better path. Having a lot in common is really important and we definitely have a lot in common. I think that that’s what makes us so strong and really happy.”
