It seems notoriously outspoken and egotistical rapper Kanye West is once again trying to show his reformed self by showing his softer side after he not only cried on camera while talking about one of his late fashion mentors Louise Wilson, but also by apologizing to two other stars who he has publicly dissed.

West took to his Twitter account on Thursday February 26 to try to clear the air surrounding some rifts he has had, starting with his recent rant against Beck after he won Album of the Year at the the Grammy Awards.

Although Beck never seemed too bothered by West’s comments that Beck “should have given his award to Beyonce” and “needs to respect artistry,” Yeezy obviously felt a straight out apology was needed.

“I would like to publicly apologize to Beck, I’m sorry Beck,” West wrote, straight, succinct and to the point. He then also said he was sorry to “Uptown Funk” crooner Bruno Mars, “I also want to publicly apologize to Bruno Mars, I used to hate on him but I really respect what he does as an artist. I also would love for Bruno to sing this hook on this song 88 Keys/ Puff and I produced…I even asked Tyler to shoot the vid.”

The apology to Mars was kind of surprising given any beef there would be between the two would have been from a couple years ago when West went off during a performance about Bruno being asked to perform the Super Bowl half time show.

Hopefully West has finally turned over a new leaf and no apologies will be needed in the near future.
