A major British crossover is happening this holiday season!
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton and Prince William, will be appearing on a baking show special with iconic Great British Bake Off judge Mary Berry.
The couple announced the collaboration on Instagram to build excitement alongside a few teasers of what the episode has in store. According to the post, the special is titled A Berry Royal Christmas where Kate, William and Mary will team up to prepare festive food and spread holiday cheer to the community. During the episode, the trio will be planning a holiday event “to thank and acknowledge staff and volunteers from charities and organizations who will be working tirelessly over the Christmas period.”
Mary will also join “The Duchess behind the scenes to learn more about The Duchess’s commitment to the early years in raising the next generation of happy, healthy children.” The Duchess and Mary will also visit The Brink, which is the UK’s first dry bar set up by Action on Addiction to “meet the inspiring people whose lives have been changed by the help and support of the charity.”
The Duke and Mary, on the other hand, will “visit the UK’s largest resource centre for homeless and insecurely housed people, which has helped over 130,000 people in crisis through its resource centre, homelessness prevention projects and two innovative accommodation services.”
The episode will air in the UK on Monday, December 16th at 8:30 pm on BBC One.
