Kate Gosselin Shares Photo Of Six Of Her Kids As They Head Back To School

It is hard to believe that the Gosselin children are heading into senior year and eighth grade!

After many fans were introduced to the family before the sextuplets were even born, TLC viewers have now watched the Gosselin children grow up from Jon & Kate Plus 8 to Kate Plus 8.

This week marked milestones for all of the children as the oldest sibling, twins Mady and Cara, began their senior year of high school while the sextuplets started eighth grade and on Thursday, August 23, Kate Gosselin shared a photo of several of her children on their first day back.

“This was yesterday! Feels like school never ended…and they’re already back! #SeniorYear  #EighthGrade #ProudMom ” she captioned the smiling photo of Mady and Cara, both 17, and 14-year-old Aaden, Alexis, Leah and Joel.

Of course, noticeably absent from the photo is two of the sextuplets Collin and Hannah. In 2016, Kate Gosselin revealed that Collin was no longer living at home and had been sent to a live-in learning facility to help him reach his full potential. “Collin has special needs,” Kate revealed. “[There’s] a fairly fluid diagnosis of what those needs are, but he needs to learn certain strategies to help him deal with things. This has been a struggle we’ve had for a very long time, and it’s not something that has only impacted me or him – our entire family has been impacted.”

As for Hannah, she has been spending a lot of her time with her dad, Jon Gosselin, who claimed that Hannah is living with him permanently.

As the kids hit senior year and eighth grade, Kate is also moving ahead in her life as she is set to return to TV with a new reality series, Kate Plus Date, documenting her search for love.

Kate Plus Date is coming to TLC this fall.
