Kate Gosselin’s Twins Humiliate Her on ‘Today Show’ Interview!

Kate Gosselin and her 13 year-old twin daughters appeared on The Today Show — and it was an awkward disaster!

In the interview, Cara and Mady were supposed to discuss their recent People magazine interview, in which they said they’re not messed up from growing up on a reality show. But when it came time to answer the questions, they clammed up — or perhaps were more calculating in the way they refused to engage.

Kate made things even more awkward since she was visibly uncomfortable and didn’t know how to respond or recover the situation. Check out the video to see the live TV catastrophe.

Perhaps Cara and Mady were using some kind of silent twin language?

Kate later took to Twitter to explain what happened. ‘Thanks to @TODAYshow for having Cara, Mady and me on the show today! 1st live interview can render even the gabbiest girls speechless,” she explained. “I’m proud of them, taking this opp! They were so excited but caught off guard by live tv!” She claims that the girls really wanted to do the interview, but some viewers are skeptical.

“It was horrible,” said the girls’ dad, Jon Gosselin, slamming Kate for having “no empathy” and “no encouragement.”
