Kate Hudson, Goldie Hawn Post Sweet Birthday Messages For Kurt Russell

Kurt Russell celebrated his 64th birthday on Tuesday March 17 and has the patriarch of the famous Russell-Hudson family, he received some adorable message from his loved ones including his stepchildren Kate and Oliver Hudson and of course his longtime partner, Goldie Hawn.

Although Kate’s biological father is Hawn’s ex-husband Bill Hudson, she is very open about consider Russell her father and couldn’t be more appreciative of the man she calls “pa.”

On her Instagram page, Hudson, 35, shared a picture of the two at a New York Yankees- Boston Red Sox game, writing, “Today in our family we not only celebrate St. Patricks Day but the birthday of our Pa!”

“Happy Birthday to the most dependable, strong, authentic, loving and fun Dad! I love you! This is a man who made his family his number one priority his whole life. Never missed a school play, a soccer game, a hockey game, a dance recital and the list goes on and on. No matter what he was doing in his busy life, he always showed up. Not because he had to but because there was no other place on earth he would rather be than with his family. We felt the purity of that our whole childhood and my gratitude for his love is immeasurable. Happy Birthday Pa.”

Goldie Hawn, 69, also wrote a message on Twitter, “Today is my Amazing wild and awesome man…Kurt Russell’s birthday! Happy birthday baby!!! I loved Ya so.”

Hawn and Russell began dating in 1983, three years after her divorce from Bill, and along with helping her raise Kate and Oliver, the couple had a son of their own, Wyatt Russell in 1986.
