The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are sending you their holiday wishes!
The royal couple recently shared their annual holiday photo which includes their three adorable children, Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3. They’ve made a tradition of sharing a new family portrait every holiday season, which is included in their yearly Christmas card.
The couple shared the photo to Instagram on Friday writing in the caption, “Delighted to share a new image of the family, which features on this year’s Christmas card,” with a Christmas tree emoji.
The photo is a little different than previous years in that it was clearly taken while the family was on a vacation based on the stone background. According to Kensington Palace, the photo was taken during a private family trip to Jordan.
Kensington Palace also released the photo and gave a little more context about their family trip. “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to share a new photograph of their family,” the statement reads. “The photograph, which features on Their Royal Highnesses’ Christmas card this year, shows The Duke and Duchess with their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis in Jordan earlier this year.”
The family coordinated outfits in the photo in an array of lovely earth tones. Kate is smiling wide in an olive green khaki dress. In the photo she has her hand reaching out to William’s knee, who is wearing a matching polo shirt. Kate is also reaching out lovingly to George who is wearing an olive camouflage top, while William is reaching out to Charlotte who is wearing a gingham dress. Little Louis is sitting in the front of the photo smiling cheek to cheek while wearing a blue striped collared top.
