Kate Middleton is glittering in green!
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge recently stepped out for an evening reception in Dublin during their three-day royal tour. The event took place at the Gravity bar at the Guinness Storehouse where William and Kate met locals from the areas of creative arts, sports, business, and charity. The reception was hosted by the British ambassador Robin Barnett.
For the special occasion, Kate dressed to the nines and opted for shades of green to honor the country. Kate, in particular, had all eyes on her wearing a glittering emerald dress by The Vampire’s Wife. The midi-length dress featured a cinched-in waist and frills along the sleeves and hemline which added the perfect feminine touch. She accessorized with matching velvet heels and a gold glittery clutch.
During the event, Kate and William both sipped beers and the prince joked about following in his grandmother’s footsteps. “In coming to the Guinness Storehouse, we are retracing the footsteps of my grandmother, who was shown how to pour the perfect pint here in 2011,” he said. “Ladies and gentlemen, let me tell you it is not often that I find myself following the Queen to a pub! But I am looking forward to testing for myself the theory that Guinness tastes even better in Ireland than overseas!”
