Kate Middleton is going casual today for a surprise visit to a farm in Northern Ireland!
The royal mom stepped out unannounced in Ireland to meet with locals about her new mission in support of early childhood development. The Duchess was given a tour of a farm in Newtownards by the owners of the Ark Open Farm. The farm is set on 40 acres of land and is home to a variety of animals, including alpacas and lambs. The farm is open to visitors and often hosts groups of schoolchildren and families.
For the occasion, Kate kept her outfit simple and casual. She opted for a military-inspired olive green jacket paired with black skinny jeans and brown knee-high boots. She wore her hair in her signature blowout and kept her makeup classy and natural.
The Duchess used the visit to further spread her message about the new childhood development initiative she’s currently working on. She launched a survey earlier this month called “5 Big Questions on the Under Fives” that addresses topics such as nature vs. nurture, health, and happiness. The goal of the survey is to help guide what can be done to help vulnerable children and families in the future.
The Duchess has visited the four corners of the UK to discuss the survey with locals. She began her journey in Birmingham and continued on to Cardiff, London, and Woking, Surrey.
