Kendall Jenner MMVAs 2014 Dress: Super Cute Or Inappropriate?

Kendall Jenner has been making headlines for a dress she wore when she hosted the 2014 Much Music Awards. The long-sleeved, floor-length white gown with gold and silver embellishments also had shockingly high slits on both sides, showing off the 18 year-old model’s hip bones. It was no wardrobe malfunction; the dress was supposed to look like that — and many onlookers wondered if Kendall would accidentally flash the crowd her ladybits if she turned the wrong way (luckily, the dress stayed in place).
Kendall’s dress isn’t quite as daring as the sheer crystal gown that Rihanna wore to the CFDA Awards a few weeks ago, but it may have ushered in a scary new trend: visible pelvic bones. Women are already beating themselves up about the dreaded “thigh gap” — having a space between your thighs when you stand with your feet together, so let’s hope they don’t start stressing over whether their hip bones stick out in certain dresses.
Either way, Kendall’s going to be someone to watch when it comes to avant-garde red carpet fashion. We can’t wait to see what she experiments with next!
