Kevin Bacon is no stranger to the festival realm, and at this year’s SXSW, he had the opportunity to sit down in a relaxed environment, talk about all things career related, and even share a few anecdotes about coming across fans in some interesting places.
When South By Southwest is in session, you can rest assured you’ll score a whole lot of awesome in the realm of movies and music. There are movie premiers offered by the boatload, celebrities milling among the common folk, musicians jamming around every corner and some of the most enjoyable, candid interviews offered in the realm of entertainment. If you’re a fan of film and/or music, this is the festival to attend, and it takes place in Austin, Texas, one of the most underrated cities in the United States of America.
Enjoying this fantastic atmosphere, Kevin Bacon sat down to a little one on one (plus camera crew), and ripped right into one of his most memorable autograph seeker stories. He was, of course, not the one seeking, rather the one being sought. Sure, people come up to him at restaurants, on the street, at various places of business and Kevin is always happy to oblige–he’s one of the coolest dudes in the business, after all. But on one particular instance, Kevin was approached in the restroom of an airport as he was answering nature’s call at a urinal.
We’d all figure that people would offer a mutual respect of privacy while taking a 10-100, but not the guy who stepped up next to Kevin. He asked for an autograph… and Kevin responded. Wanna know what he had to say to the seeker? Check out the video below!
