Former Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall is not holding back when it comes to the long-rumored bad blood between herself and her former co-star Sarah Jessica Parker.
Following the death of Cattrall’s brother, Christopher, many of Cattrall’s co-stars sent their condolences and on Saturday, February 10, she responded to Parker in particular. The actress shared an image that read, “I don’t need your love or support at this tragic time @sarahjessicaparker.” Underneath the image, she wrote, “My mom asked me today, ‘When will @sarahhjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?’ Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now.”
She continued, “Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already) You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona.”
Cattrall then included a link to a 2017 New York Post article that looked behind the scenes into the “mean-girls culture” which apparently “destroyed” the popular series.
The 61-year-old actress revealed a few days prior that her brother, Christopher, had been found dead and after an outpouring of support from fans, fellow celebrities and her former Sex and the City co-stars, Cattrall took to Instagram to share, “I would like to thank my fans, friends, and my #SexandtheCity colleagues for the outpouring of support for myself and family over the past 72 hours.” Her post of gratitude made her post a few days later slamming Sarah Jessica Parker that much more confusing.
