Is your mom also your manager? Don’t call her a “Momager” unless you’re a Kardashian or a Jenner!

That’s right — reality show mom Kris Jenner wants to trademark the term “Momager.”

The 59 year-old mother of Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner has filed legal documents to own the trademark for the nickname, which has been attributed to Kris over the years.

If she is granted the trademark for “Momager,” she’ll have the right to sue anyone who uses the term without her permission.

Kris certainly is the foremost expert on momaging, given that she’s served as a manager for Kim, who made a reported $28 million in 2014. Kim rakes in money from the family’s E! reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians in addition to endorsements and business ventures in clothing, jewelry, shoes and fragrances. She even has her own mobile gaming app.

“Everything I am I owe it all to you mom! Everything I will teach my daughter you taught me first,” Kim wrote on Instagram for Mother’s Day this year. “Thank you mom for being there for me & loving me unconditionally! I love you so much!!”

Trademarking terms and catchphrases is a growing trend; Taylor Swift trademarked “This Sick Beat” and “Party Like It’s 1989,” among other phrases, back in January.
