Luke Perry Has Been Laid To Rest In Private Tennessee Burial

Beloved actor Luke Perry has been laid to rest following his death on Monday, March 4 at the age of 52.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 star was buried in Dixon, Tennessee on Monday, March 11 according to his death certificate which was released. According to the certificate, obtained by TMZ, Luke’s fiancee, Wendy Bauer, is listed as his next of kin, or “informant.” It is also reported that the actor was a part-time Tennessee resident and had owned a farm there since 1995.

The death certificate also confirmed the cause of death as, listing it as an “ischemic cerebrovascular,” also known as a stroke.

The Riverdale actor was hospitalized on Feb. 27 after paramedics were dispatched to his home in Sherman Oaks, California in response to someone suffering a stroke. The actor remained “under observation” for five days but died on March 4. According to the death certificate, he died at 12:44 p.m

In a statement released by Perry’s rip, he was surrounded by his family and loved ones, and it was revealed in the statement that Perry was actually engaged at the time of his death to former actress and therapist Wendy Madison Bauer. According to a “save the date” notice obtained by TMZ, Perry and Bauer were planning to tie the knot on August 17, 2019.

While many were unaware of the ultra-private star’s relationship, Bauer released a statement after his passing revealing they had been together for nearly 12 years.

“I want to express my gratitude to everyone for the outpouring of love and support,” she said in a statement. “The countless, heartwarming stories of Luke’s generosity and kindness have been a great source of solace during this difficult time.”

“The past 11½ years with Luke were the happiest years of my life, and I am grateful to have had that time with him,” she continued. “I also want to thank his children, family, and friends for their love and support. We have found comfort in one another and in the knowledge that our lives were touched by an extraordinary man. He will be dearly missed.”
