Maks Chmerkovskiy Apologizes To Dancing With The Stars Partner Vanessa LacheyPublished on October 5, 2017.
Dancing with the Stars pro Maks Chmerkovskiy has admitted that he will take full responsibility for skipping out on his partner Vanessa Lachey this past week!
It was announced at the beginning of Monday’s episode that the pro was taking the night off for vague “personal issues” and that Vanessa would be dancing with Alan Bersten. The absence sparked some controversy after inside sources revealed the duo were not getting along backstage and that their personalities had been clashing during rehearsals.
Luckily, it seems this duo has resolved their issues and is back stronger than ever to vie for the mirror ball trophy! Maks spoke out on social media and revealed, “As you are all aware, I had to leave the show last week to take care of some personal issues. I take full responsibility for my absence and want to apologize to my partner Vanessa. We are both looking forward to dancing for our fans next week!”
Although fans did not get answers about exactly what the “personal issues” were, the news that the duo will be returning to the dance floor was news enough! Vanessa has already proved herself to be quite the impressive dancer and it would be a shame to see her chances of winning affected by a feud. Hopefully this dancing duo can officially put their differences aside and focus on their rehearsals!
Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays at 8 pm on ABC.
