Following the news of their engagement in the end of November, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle promptly posed for an official engagement photocall, but now they are sharing pictures from their official portrait engagement photoshoot.
The handsome prince and gorgeous former Suits actress look absolutely in love in two photos that were shared by Kensington Palace on Thursday, December 21. The two posed for their engagement session at Frogmore House in Windsor and were photographed by fashion photographer Alexi Lubomirski.
In the first photo the two sat on the steps outside Frogmore House while Markle leaned into Harry as she donned a beautiful black and sheer detailed gown and Harry wore a royal blue suit. The photo was captioned, “Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle have chosen to release this official portrait photograph to mark their engagement. The photograph was taken by photographer @alexilubomirski earlier this week at Frogmore House, Windsor.”
A second black and white photo showed Harry wrapping Markle into his coat while they both smiled adorably and Markle flashed her ring as she held her hand up to Harry’s face. “It was an incredible honor to be asked to document this wonderful event, but also a great privilege to be invited to share and be a witness to this young couple’s love for one another,” Lubomirski said, according to a statement from the palace. “I cannot help but smile when I look at the photos that we took of them, such was their happiness together.”
As previously reported, the two are set to be married on May 19, 2018 at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
