Meghan Markle And Prince Harry’s Former Head Of Communications Will Work For Queen Elizabeth

March 31st marks Meghan and Harry’s last official day as senior royals!

The duo will now begin their new chapter with more privacy and family time with their 10-month-old son, Archie. This unprecedented move means that Meghan and Harry had to let go of many members of their London royal office team.

Luckily, Meghan and Harry’s head of communication, Sara Latham, has found a new role for herself within the royal family. Latham will be working in Queen Elizabeth’s private office on special projects, reporting to the Queen’s private secretary Edward Young.

Latham originally joined Meghan and Harry’s team from the public relations company Freuds, “where she oversaw global corporate accounts with a particular emphasis on executive thought leadership and purpose-led campaigns,” the palace previously stated.

Going forward, Buckingham Palace will no longer comment on enquiries related to Prince Harry and Meghan and “no other royal communications representatives will act on behalf of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, including palace spokespeople, Household representatives nor royal sources,” according to today’s statement.

Meghan and Harry’s communications will instead be managed by U.S. agency Sunshine Sachs in addition to charity adviser James Holt in the U.K.
