Meghan Markle made a few stops in London before she jumped on a plane back to Canada!
The Duchess revealed on her and Harry’s Instagram page that she had made a private visit to Mayhew, an animal welfare charity, earlier in the month. The charity was announced as one of her first patronages last January.
The photos showed Meghan wearing a navy coat rolled up at the sleeves layered with a blue pinstripe button-up. She wore her hair in her signature loose waves and her makeup natural and glowy. In one photo, Meghan is being led into the facility with a smile on her face and the other she is petting a dog while crouching to the floor.
The photo was captioned, “Earlier this month, The Duchess of Sussex popped in to see the amazing people at Mayhew to hear about the incredible progress made throughout the festive period.”
“The Duchess of Sussex, having been proud patron of Mayhew since January 2019 and long understanding the connection between animal and community welfare, applauds the people at Mayhew for the vital work that they do every day.”
“From cats and dogs who have found new homes to animal welfare cases handled in the community – @TheMayhew believes in the power of togetherness and the special bond between humans and animals.”
