Meghan Markle is jumping right back into her work after it was announced that she and Prince Harry would be stepping down from their senior roles.
She was first spotted boarding a seaplane to Vancouver and has now made an official appearance to visit the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre in Vancouver. She shared tea with women who work at the centre where they discussed “issues affecting women in the community.” The community centre provides support and basic necessities to over 500 women and children every day, which is a cause that Meghan is passionate about supporting.
The community centre shared an adorable photo and message about Meghan on their Facebook page. “Look who we had tea with today! The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, visited us today to discuss issues affecting women in the community,” the post reads. The photo shows Meghan happily smiling surrounded by women working at the centre. She appears to be wearing a cream-colored cable knit sweater, black jeans and knee-high boots.
We’re happy to see Meghan stepping back into public life and continuing to connect with women and the work she’s passionate about.
