People really will come up with anything to try to target celebrities for their money, even something as ludicrous as claiming a celebrity once stole your pet chicken when you were growing up and now want compensation for your loss.

That’s exactly what an apparent childhood friend of Mila Kunis is stating in a lawsuit that she filed in small claims court in L.A. on Monday April 20.

In the papers singer Kristina Karo states that Kunis stole her favorite pet, a chicken name Doggie when they were growing up in the Ukraine together and is now seeking $5000 for therapy sessions “due to isolation for the loss of her chicken pet,” and “upon arriving in the US and seeing [Kunis] in person, more therapy was needed due to emotional abuse,” TMZ reported.

The absolutely ridiculous claim was met by an equally ridiculous response by Kunis who took to the livestreaming app Meerkat to respond to the accusations with her husband Ashton Kutcher, who pointed out some of the oddest parts of Karo’s claims including the fact that she coincidentally has a music video coming out at the same time she is suing.

Kunis continued to mock the legal action by stating, “I was devastated. I was weeping. I was dumbfounded,” and also stated she has not actually been served with the lawsuit but feels “emotionally served.”

She then admitted she had watched Karo’s music video and now wants to launch “a counter $5000 lawsuit for making me sit there and watch your music video shamelessly. My body hurts. My eyes hurt, they’re burning. That requires money.”
